Social responsibility
Russian Railways actively implements its corporate strategy of social responsibility. Comprehensive assistance in the areas of regional development, growth of social mobility, activity transparency, ongoing efforts to improve the quality of provided services and the implementation in full of all government social programmes are the criteria for the fulfillment of the Company’s obligations to both society and to the national economy.
The Company has approved a Code of Corporate Social Responsibility. Adoption of the Code confirms the Company’s commitment to the implementation of economic activity, which takes into account the concerns of all interested parties and promotes balanced, sustainable development.
The Company introduced the practice of a regular social reporting and presentation of its results to the public.
